Power Season 4 They Kill Them in Fronr of the Baby
Every bit fast paced every bit this flavor has been, I was expecting there to be an episode where things slowed down, and it came this week.
While not weak past whatsoever means, Power Flavor four Episode 7 was more than of a setup slice preparing us for the final run of episodes. Nosotros've got Angela and company FINALLY looking at Mike, Tommy talking to Teresi, and Tariq spiraling out of control.
It dawned on me this calendar week, are there whatsoever truly decent, not-psychotic people on this show?
This is a serious question I'1000 posing here. Find me one major character that isn't an absolute psychopath, and I will try to prove you wrong.
The two craziest people of all, Ghost and Tommy, were back together this calendar week, admittedly helping 1 another clean up the messes they fabricated. Listening to them each recap all the things they've been through the last couple weeks was almost comical.
Ghost, this story is so fucking weird.
Tommy
Even though Kanan wasn't physically nowadays, he was a major topic of give-and-take. I was struck by how unbothered Ghost and Tommy seemed to exist about the fact Kanan was still out roaming the streets.
It'southward probably because they each have a one thousand thousand other things going on, but still, this is a man they've gotten arrested and tried to kill and who almost killed Tariq. I would think getting rid of Kanan once and for all would be a high priority.
What does seem to be a high priority for Ghost is fixing his public image. Simon Stern sets him upwards with a primetime interview and Ghost jumps at the chance to parade his family out in front of the world and get America to run across him as James St. Patrick and not a murderer.
Tasha plays the office of dutiful wife well, as she always has, only these two could not be emotionally farther apart. I can't effigy out whether Ghost actually wants to be with Tasha or not.
Tasha is over Ghost and has been over Ghost for a long time, but she'due south also forever tethered to him. And it goes beyond them just having children together.
Side note, is anyone else waiting for the inevitable Ghost and Angela confrontation? I know they've had a few scenes together, but in that location is but no way a whole flavour tin can laissez passer u.s.a. by without these two alone in a room together. My patience is starting to run out hither!
Speaking of Angela, she's suspended and most likely going to lose her job and so she'due south set out to find the real mole. As does the rest of the team. They all want to kickoff pointing fingers at each other and it was killing me to encounter Sandoval continue to simply fly under the radar.
That is until Angela and Donovan saw his slimy cocky on the surveillance video headed upstairs toward Ghost'due south office. I virtually screamed when I saw this because watching Sandoval go away with this has been painful.
And how near him only casually shoeing upwardly to Donovan's place in hopes of killing him? Honestly, he and Tommy should be best friends because they both believe in killing their problems away.
Tommy'southward a fucking psycho. You retrieve I tell him what to do? He's the real threat here.
Proctor
Tommy but killed one person this calendar week, so that'south expert. It wasn't until Ghost pointed out how terribly sloppy Tommy was in regards to Bailey's murder that I realized just how bad that whole thing was. I think it'due south considering I take infinite trust in Proctor and perhaps I shouldn't.
Information technology certain seems like they are trying to set this up to make us think Proctor could be looking to double cross Ghost and Tommy. I'1000 of the belief that he wouldn't, merely Ghost lurking in the shadows and seeing Mak and Proctor talk isn't going to be good for him.
If this season ends with Proctor's decease and a rat like Dre making information technology out alive, I'm revolting.
Everything Else You Need To Know
- So Argent and Tasha are a thing now. We saw mayhap two interactions between them earlier their little karaoke group engagement and sexual activity session, so information technology's hard to take a rooting interest here. I am rooting for Ghost to find out and freak out though.
- I despise Dre so much. He taunts Julio'southward dead body and now he'southward taking his chore! He'southward also still lying all over the place and I demand him to be exposed. If Kanan has to return one day, I hope he just says "Dre knew everything!" and then disappears forever.
- Did anyone else practice a double take when they saw Larenz Tate at Truth? That man does not age. Looks like he will exist a thorn in Simon Stern's side, and then I'm all near him sticking effectually.
- I've heard of the Jimenez'south before, just have they e'er been shown? Tommy is making some heavy demands of this blood brother/sister duo who made a man snort cocaine until he died and then shot his wife in front end of their kid. Another pair of sane individuals.
- I wish I had more sympathy for Tariq because the male child has been through a lot, simply he continues to frustrate me to no end. Him taking out all the injure and confusion he feels on Raina is so hard to sentry. She's probably the well-nigh pure graphic symbol on this show and she doesn't deserve the abuse.
- Teresi is Tommy'southward father! I'chiliad pretty sure nosotros all called that weeks agone so no big shocker. What this means going forward though, I have no idea.
Only three episodes left y'all! What are your predictions heading into the habitation stretch?
What's next for Tommy and his begetter? Will Ghost find out about Tasha and Argent?
